D’Qar was a verdant planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. By the thirtieth year after the formation of the New Republic, the planet was the location of the headquarters of the Resistance, a small military force formed by Senator Leia Organa to combat the growing threat of the First Order, a successor state to the Galactic Empire. We should list this planet as a potential base in the future. The Empire’s not interested, not much space lane traffic in the area, and there’s plenty of water. Plus it beats Hoth.
